Starting out in 2007 as a small recruitment agency primarily aimed at large yachts, which grew through word of mouth, we are now proud to have grown substantially and have diversified to cater to a wide range of industry positions as well as growing to cover Shoreside & Private Household positions. Since Liam and Nicola took on the company 7 years ago following the retirement of Jim & Lin Halligan and Terry Wilson, Wilsonhalligan have increased their client base, candidates and also our own, carefully selected in-house team.
Superyachts, Shoreside & Private Households
Our team can assist on all levels of yacht recruitment; from helping some of the very best Captains find their next position to supporting greens candidates with getting their very first yacht job. We have also expanded and diversified our client base which now includes 25-180 metre yachts, boutique cruise ships as well as still recruiting for larger superyachts. Another specialism of ours is now recruiting for Shoreside roles in the industry such as office-based positions within yacht management companies as well as Private Households, where skills sets from crew life are well-matched.

We pride ourselves in having our ISO 9001 accreditation, of which we are annually audited to showcase our high standard of management meaning you can have great faith in our service and processes.
Our in-house team of expert recruiters is another great achievement of ours, individually selected and often with first-hand experience in the maritime industry ranging from commercial to yachts. This knowledge gives our recruiters the unique perspective to efficiently match the right candidate to the most well-suited position.
Future Plans for 2022
For 2022, Wilsonhalligan will continue to build on the success we have experienced by expanding our team further. We have our own Shoreside specialist, Luke Randall. We now plan to increase our Shoreside & Private Household client base, enabling us to make those perfect matches ashore as well as on board
We are also looking forward to more travel this year following Covid-19 in the form of our favourite boat shows including Palma, Monaco and Antigua. The team look forward to seeing you there!
